Breakfast is lovely, rooms are comfortable, clean and well appointed. We had to move because there was a maintenance issue in our original room and our replacement had really bad views and no natural light, when I asked for a different option the front of desk became actually quite rude, which marred the stay a little. Some staff members from reception were quite brusque and inhospitable in their manners towards guests, and we saw one staff member being quite offensive towards one of the cleaning staff in the main reception which was off-putting. You expect to be treated with respect and spoken to like a human being in any workplace and that didn't seem to happen for all the staff here. I was checked in by some lovely staff, the maintenance guys were great, and the breakfast porter was a lovely welcoming, smiley and helpful face in the mornings. All in all it was a good stay in a convenient location, comfy beds, warm showers, so 4 stars seems very fair.
